Течет в восточном направлении через водохранилища Джеймс [Lake James] и Родисс [Lake Rhodiss], затем через водохранилище Хикори [Lake Hickory]. Поворачивает на юг и течет через водохранилища Лукаут-Шолс [Lookout Shoals] и Норман [Lake Norman], протекает между г. Шарлотт и Гастония, образует границу между штатами, поворачивает на юго восток и впадает в водохранилище Уотерс [Lake Waters] (этот участок называется Уотери-ривер [Wateree River]). К югу от г.
